Graham HATES bath time. As soon as he hears the water start running, he gets this uneasy look on his face. Then as we start to take his clothes and diaper off, he starts getting really squirmy and fussy. Then the moment his little bum hits the water, it's a complete freak out meltdown!
But I like smelling like puke! You guys suck!
I remember Erica hating the bath too... but apparently she was down with it by 3 mos

Potty Time!
I am DONE changing nasty poopy pullups. I took the plunge yesterday and told Erica NO MORE pullups during the day. She did great all day yesterday. She went potty before naptime, and then again before I took her with me to Target last night. As soon as we got home she said she needed to go tee-tee, so I told her to go ahead while I brought in the bags from the car. When I got back in, she had found a pull-up, put it on, and peed in it. *sigh* I kept telling Eric she wasn't ready. He said that if she knows she's going to pee, can take off her own pants and panties, then put on a pullup and pee in it, SHE'S READY. And he's absolutely right. I kept putting it off with Erica longer and longer because I know how easy it was with Natalie, once she was ready. But, he's right. She IS ready, and I need to just give her a little push. So, I put up all the pullups where she can't get to them. I let her wear one to bed last night (because I already change sheets enough around here with McSpitty in the house) but as soon as she woke up this morning, it was straight into panties. And no accidents so far today. I'm really proud of her progress just in the past couple days. We're well on our way now!
And speaking of McSpitty - we've had to start putting Graham in a bib anytime he's awake now because not only does he still spit-up all.the.time, but now he's taken to gnawing on his hands and drooling buckets. I remember Erica started the same thing around this age and I swore she must be teething. Yeah, well unless she was teething for 4 mos... LOL So I'm not sure what the deal is, but with the Spit-up and constant drool, he's now gone from McSnorty (which I used to call him because he sounded like a little piggy snorting all the time), to McSpitty.

First time in the Jumperoo
Ah, the Jumperoo. This is one of those things that didn't even exist when Natalie was a baby and that I never bought when Erica was a baby. We had a doorway jumper, so I never bothered to spend the money on the jumperoo. All my friends raved about them though, so I figured I'd get one for Graham. There's not a lot left that I can get him since we pretty much have every baby related item from the girls. And bonus - I bought it used from a friend! Well, Graham has been getting REALLY bored with his swing (ALREADY??!!??!!), so I thought I'd put together the Jumperoo and let him try it out. I put it on the lowest setting, and his little feet just barely reach the floor. And he can't quite hold his body up well enough, so I have to stuff a blanket in there for support. But he was happy to sit and take in the sounds and lights. It's nice to have another option to keep him entertained.
Then this afternoon I thought it would be nice to take the kids outside for a little bit to play. It's been a little chilly here the past several days (You northerners, don't ask what chilly is to me lol), but it warmed up quite a bit today. In fact, we were only out there for maybe 10 minutes when Natalie said, "my hair is hot, can we go back inside?" LOL I was thinking, "Just wait until late August..." :)
Graham was interested in everything BUT looking at the camera!
wondering what those girls are up to
blowing bubbles
looking at his toes

We had pictures done 2 months ago. It was a big fiasco to try and get the prints because they had it under some other person's name. Finally when I got them, I was just able to scan in the ones I ordered, so I could have some sort of digital copy of them. Well, I just took Graham this morning to get some 3 month pictures done, and I got them to resend the ones from the last session. I'm still waiting on the ones from today, but thought I'd share the other ones.
I'm not a huge fan of the posed portrait sittings at places like this (these are from Target), but I hate my camera and although I try to take a decent amount of snapshots, it's easier sometimes to just go and let someone else do it for me. I wish I could afford to hire a "real" photographer all the time, but I just can't. Maybe someday!
Some of them came out pretty good and some are just so funny!

Who looks like who?
COMMENTS!
There are a few of you that leave comments regularly (THANK YOU!), but I want to know who else out there is reading my blog! So come on everyone, leave me comments. I LOVE to read comments. Lets me know I'm not just blogging to hear myself type (er, um, something like that).

3 months old
I'm a few days late, but I've been soooo busy the past few days I haven't had a chance to take pictures or blog. Graham turned 3 months old on Saturday! I can't believe how fast he's growing!
At Three Months Old, Graham:
eats 6-8 times a day (formula in a bottle)
sleeps 8-10 hours at night
wears size 3-6 mos clothes
wears a size 2 diaper
"talks" a lot, when he wants to
has rolled over front to back a few times, on accident
is just starting to laugh
does NOT like to be away from home for long and lets you know it!
sleeps in his own crib in his own room for most of the night every night
cannot sleep without his pacifier, but doesn't really want it during his awake time
is Natalie's favorite person, and the feeling is mutual
loves to lay in his crib and watch his "friends" on his mobile
still likes his swing, but is starting to tire of it
likes sitting in his bumbo at the table while we eat dinner
still HATES his carseat, but does better in it than he used to
weighs around 15 lbs.
And in this one, the flash was really bright, so you can see how blue his eyes still are. Now, Natalie's were still blueish at this age too, so I'm not holding out much hope on his staying blue.

Valentine's Shoot
The girls have been waiting to wear their "heart" outfits, so I let them put them on yesterday and thought I'd try to get some pics to use for Vday cards. I got most of them with just the girls while Graham was still asleep. And then once he woke up I got him dressed and only got a few before he spit up ALL OVER his outfit. He spits up SO MUCH. And I mean, he hadn't eaten since before his nap about 3 hours before! It was MUCH easier to get pics of just the girls. Natalie acts all weird when I try to get a pic of her with Graham. So I'm lucky if I get one where she isn't making some weird face or doing something weird with her hands. Here are some of the ones I got yesterday.
I told them to look at each like they loved each other and got this
Natalie was making her "monkey" face, but Erica thought she was going to kiss her, so she did this
But Natalie wanted nothing to do with that! lol
This is probably my favorite

Angel Kisses
Not much going on around here today. Eric is working on our fence that blew down when Ike rolled through. He's been at it all day except for a couple hours when we went to a birthday lunch for his brother A. The girls and I went to Target this morning, but nothing too exciting. Then we spent the day just hanging out. I played a couple board games with Natalie while Erica and Graham napped. I got just a few pics of them today.
My sweet innocent little man - on his own sheets this time!
And here you can see pretty well where Natalie cut her own hair back in December. And you can also see how her eczema is breaking out around her mouth. Her lips are so chapped right now. I used to have a permanent kool-aid looking mustache as a kid because of licking my lips til they chapped.
And here's Erica's face when I asked her if she knew where a blue marker was...
And if you look back at all 3 of them, you can see the "angel kisses" birthmarks that they all share. On the eyelids and right between the eyes. They fade with time, so Graham's are the darkest and Natalie's are the lightest.
